All pricing is NZ dollars and includes Goods & Services Tax (GST)
These terms govern the use of this site. These terms may be changed from time to time.
"CM LED LIGHTING" and "Brite LED Tech NZ" are divisions of CM Trailer Equipment Limited.
Right to use site
You may make use of this site for personal use, non-commercial use or research provided that any reproduction includes a prominent acknowledgement of Brite LED Tech NZ's rights in the relevant content. You may not use this site or the content on it for any other purposes or in any other way.
Brite LED Tech NZ has tried to ensure the content on this site is current, accurate and complete. However Brite LED Tech NZ does not guarantee the content will be current, accurate or complete when you access it. Brite LED Tech NZ only provides the content on, or accessed through, this site on an "as is" basis. You must make your own assessment of the suitability of the content and/or products for your own purposes. You are solely responsible for the actions you take in reliance on the content on or accessed through this site. Governing law and Jurisdiction
These terms and any matters or disputes connected with this site will be governed by New Zealand law and will be dealt with by the New Zealand courts.
While the Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act provide the basis for Brite LED Tech NZ returns policy, we in fact go above and beyond the expectations of these two statutory laws. Brite LED Tech NZ has a three (3) month money back guarantee with printed proof of purchase. For a product to be returned under our policy, that product must be unused and in a reasonable condition unless faulty or otherwise defective. It is this policy that provides you peace of mind while shopping with Brite LED Tech NZ.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Brite LED Tech NZ. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.
Fair Trading Act 1986
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing: where the product was made: where is the product is from: the meeting of New Zealand safety standards: availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Warranty / Returns
When you buy from BriteLED Tech NZ you buy with confidence. We stand behind the products we sell and have one of the fairest returns policies in the market
Unless stated otherwise, all items carry a 12 month warranty (some products have longer warranties) from the date of purchase. Warranty claims cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process. Damage or faults occurring as a result of misuse, accident, or wear and tear is not covered by our warranty policy. If the product is still under warranty, then the repair will be at our expense including the freight to return the repaired or replacement product. If the product is out of warranty, then we can still have the product repaired, however, the costs of the repair and the freight to return the repaired product will be charged to the customer.
Brite LED Tech NZ has four solutions to any claim made:
- Whenever possible we will endeavor to repair any fault to a factory issue standard and return it to you at no charge.
- Where repair is not possible or practical we will replace the product with the same or similar product.
- If a repair or replacement is not possible due to the product being unavailable we will exchange it for any of Brite LED Tech NZ's product of the same value as your original purchase price.
- Where none of the above solutions is possible or practical then you have the option of receiving a full refund.
If you think your goods are faulty, simply send them with a covering letter containing your contact details and any information you think is relevant, along with Proof of Purchase (ideally this will be your receipt and/or packing slip), to:

Unused but still saleable goods complete in their original packaging may be returned to us, with your Proof of Purchase, for a refund for up to three (3) months after the date of purchase, with the exception of any item that was specially ordered or modified to meet your specifications
